# Session and Model Commands

Slash commands for models, sessions, roles, history and usage.

| `/model` | Seven tabs since v1.1.0 (←/→ switches): `model`, `reasoning`, `dispatch`, `summary`, `image`, `stt`, `tts`. `model`: registered models in fallback order (Enter picks the session model, `d` removes one, `t` sets its tier `S` / `A` / `B` / `C` / `pass`, `w` / `s` moves it up / down the fallback order) plus `add` (model from a provider). `reasoning`: the session level, `auto` or a fixed one. `dispatch`: a registered model or `Jev` (the TypeSafe CLM classifier). `summary`: the summary-memory model. `image` / `stt` / `tts`: `disable` plus every model or provider with credentials, searchable when OpenRouter models are listed. Each tab and `add` also work as a subcommand, e.g. `/model add`, `/model reasoning`. The v1.0.22 two-tab layout (`model` / `config`) and its auto reasoning on / off switch are gone |
| `/session` | Renamed from `/sessions` in v1.0.22, and absorbs the former `/bot`. Session picker — Enter switches, `d` deletes (since v1.1.1 deleting a session other than the current one keeps the picker open); below the list, `name` / `self id` / `role` edit the current session's display name, self id and system prompt. `/session <self id>` switches directly; `/session name`, `/session id`, `/session role` open one field directly |
| `/new` | Create a session. `/new [name]` goes straight to the session description: pick a role (see `/role`) or **Custom** to write one. Since v1.1.0 there is no separate name prompt; without a name the session is named after its short id |
| `/compact` | Remove redundant exchanges from history through LLM analysis — confirmation required. `/compact` and `/reset` share one popup (since v1.1.0); since v1.1.1 it has three tabs, `summary`, `compact` and `reset`, and `/compact` opens on `compact`. `summary` is read-only: the session's `summary.json` laid out field by field, or `no summary yet` |

There is no `/switch`; use `/session`. There is no `/dangerous`; delete a session with `d` in `/session` and mark skills in `/skill` → `permission`. v1.0.22 renamed `/sessions` → `/session` and `/skills` → `/skill`, folded `/bot` into `/session` and `/allow-skill` into `/skill`; popups now open full-screen and switch tabs with ←/→. There is no `/memory`; use `/compact` and `/reset`. There are no `/discord`, `/telegram` or `/admin-channel`; use `/channel`. There is no `/startup`; use `/config`. There is no `/rule`; v1.1.0 renamed it `/role`. There is no `/note`; operator notes were removed in v1.0.23 — keep reference material in files and search them through KuraDB instead. There are no `/cron` or `/task`; use `/schedule`.
